EDITED in Google Gemini is newly supported and still settling. The shape below is our best current understanding; some details will change as Google's tooling and ours firm up. Talk to your EDITED contact before you start, and tell us what you find: support@edited.com.
Set up EDITED in Google Gemini
In Gemini, EDITED is set up as a custom app that your team then uses: someone sets it up once, and everyone else just uses it. So it comes in two parts — a one-time setup and everyday use.

What you're connecting to
This is the EDITED side, and it doesn't change:
| Server | EDITED MCP — https://mcp.edited.com/mcp/v1 (UK/EU) or https://mcp-us.edited.com/mcp/v1 (US) |
| Authentication | OAuth — you sign in to EDITED; no keys to paste |
| What appears | EDITED's market-data tools — retailer, brand, pricing, assortment and trend search |
Setting it up
The exact steps in Gemini are still settling, so we're not publishing a click-by-click guide we'd have to rewrite next week. The shape is:
- Set EDITED up as a custom app in Gemini, pointed at the EDITED address above.
- Authorize over OAuth — sign in to EDITED.
- Confirm EDITED's tools are available, then make the app available to your team.
For the current detail — and to check your environment is ready — talk to your EDITED contact. We're walking the first customers through this directly while it settles.
After setup: how people use it
Once it's set up, everyday use is simple: your team uses the EDITED app in Gemini and asks in plain language — see Using EDITED in chat.
